Jim Doll (the founder & owner of DolFab) began his career in marine metal fabrication in 1978. Since that time, he has worked extensively in the mega-yacht and commercial marine markets – from new construction to complete refits. Jim has worked with some of the premier boat manufacturers in the industry such as Merritt Marine, Trinity Yachts, Swift Ship, Denison Marine, & the U.S. Navy.

Dolfab works to some of the highest standards in the marine industry. Our welders are ABS certified to unlimited thickness and carry certifications in both mig and tig welding in aluminum, stainless steel and steel.

When it comes to marine components or creating systems that need to survive in harsh environments, Jim creatively solves the puzzle, with an end result that is extremely safe & reliable. Jim Doll’s experience is trustworthy and foremost in the industry.
